Social distancing, lockdown, quarantine, vaccine, Zoom meetings, the “new normal.” Getting those pandemic flashbacks, aren’t you?
Speaking from a wedding photographer's perspective, COVID really messed up our plans.
We’re here to give y’all the inside scoop on what the pandemic wedding scene has been like for us photographers.

The team reflected on the pandemic, sharing, "In the beginning, it was tough. The first 6-7 months were incredibly difficult. The period between the third and fourth lockdowns was particularly challenging, and filled with frustration. We had this desire to do something, but we felt stuck.”
But hey, love always finds a way!
While some couples hit pause or even cancelled their date, others adjusted their plans. They downsized the wedding guest list; turning big bashes into a 50-member affair, and they made it work somehow!

Our cameras saw masked smiles, elbow and fist bumps, and the whole routine of temperature checks and sanitiser stations.
Going out for a shoot meant more than just arriving on time and carrying the right camera equipment. It meant doubling down on protective gear, sanitizer, permissions, and some serious nerves.

We even went virtual as physical attendance took a hit. We held client meetings, navigating wedding plans through Zoom meetings and even livestreaming the weddings.

One thing about us is we’re always up for a challenge, and the pandemic was our biggest one yet.
We perfected being discreet while still being able to capture the important moments, both big and small.
